At My Junior School – Pakhanna, we believe that every child deserves a happy, caring and stimulating beginning to their learning journey. Our preschool environment is designed to make children feel comfortable, confident and excited about coming to school each day.
Learning during the early years happens naturally when children are encouraged to play, explore, observe, interact and express themselves. Our facilitators therefore use age-appropriate activities, stories, rhymes, art and craft, music, movement, role play and hands-on experiences to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
Along with developing early literacy and numeracy readiness, our approach encourages the development of communication skills, creativity, thinking abilities, physical coordination, social interaction, independence and confidence.
We recognise that every child learns and develops at their own pace. Our facilitators provide encouragement and opportunities for children to participate actively, ask questions, experiment and discover through experience.
Celebrations, creative activities and everyday classroom experiences are also used as opportunities for children to learn about the world around them while developing values such as sharing, cooperation, respect and empathy.
Parents are important partners in this journey, and we encourage meaningful interaction between parents and facilitators to support each child's overall development.

Discovering the World Through Play
Our Playgroup programme provides young children with a gentle and joyful introduction to preschool. Through sensory play, rhymes, stories, music, movement, creative activities and interaction, children begin exploring their surroundings while developing communication, motor and social skills.
The emphasis is on helping children feel comfortable, secure and happy while gradually building confidence and independence.

Senior KG prepares children confidently for their transition to primary school while ensuring that learning remains enjoyable and age appropriate.
Children strengthen their language, literacy, numeracy, communication, reasoning and problem-solving abilities, while continuing to develop creativity, independence and positive social behaviour.
The focus is not simply on academic readiness but on developing confident, curious and enthusiastic learners.

Our Summer Camp provides children with an opportunity to enjoy a variety of creative, recreational and interactive experiences beyond their regular classroom routine.
Through art and craft, music, movement, games, storytelling, group activities and other engaging experiences, children get opportunities to explore new interests, interact with friends and express their creativity in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
